Plain-Language Verdict HUD
The centerpiece. A scaled, positionable panel that reads out the Total Quality Score and narrates the verdict in everyday language each bar — what's working, what's not, and whether the setup qualifies.
NinjaTrader 8 Indicator · 0–100 Total Quality Score · Four-Pillar Scoring · Self-Contained
Grades every bar's setup on a 0–100 Total Quality Score (TQS) blended from four pillars — context, execution, order flow, and red flags — and surfaces a PRIME BULLISH or PRIME BEARISH signal only when the score, bias, exhaustion and location gates all pass. It also explains the reading in plain language on the chart.

The centerpiece. A scaled, positionable panel that reads out the Total Quality Score and narrates the verdict in everyday language each bar — what's working, what's not, and whether the setup qualifies.
Directional markers that appear only when the TQS reaches the Prime Threshold and the bias, exhaustion and location gates pass, with a configurable label offset.
Auto-detected key levels plus your own — opening-range levels from a configurable session window and OR-minutes setting, a proximity tolerance in ticks, and up to three custom price levels with your own labels.
Custom PRIME bullish/bearish sounds and an optional flash that tints the HUD verdict row on signal.
Its own context, execution, order-flow, and red-flag logic; its own session engine for the clock and its own level engine for structure. Nothing else to load, no companion indicators to wire up, no external dependencies.

Keep in mind: The score describes configured analytical criteria, not a measured probability of profit.
Most "quality score" indicators hand you a value between 0 and 100 and leave you to guess what's driving it. That's not confidence — that's a black box with a paint job.
A score you can't interrogate is a score you can't trust under pressure. SteelyStoryTeller is built backwards from that problem.
The score is assembled from four weighted pillars, and the HUD narrates which pillars are strong, which are dragging, and why the current bar does or doesn't qualify. When a PRIME fires, the score and its explanation can be reviewed together — because the indicator just told the story.
Important Notice: This indicator is a non-customized charting tool provided for educational and informational market analysis only. It highlights conditions that meet proprietary analytical criteria and does not constitute financial advice, trading recommendations, or a solicitation to buy or sell any instrument. All signal output is analytical in nature. Users remain solely responsible for whether, when, and how they trade. Past performance of any analytical method is not indicative of future results. Educational and informational only; not a recommendation to buy or sell.
The 0–100 Total Quality Score is a weighted blend of four independent reads, each with its own internal logic. Each pillar's weight is adjustable, so the engine tilts toward the factors you trust most.
| Stage | What It Measures |
|---|---|
| Context | Day-type confidence, overnight inventory, and the nearest level. |
| Execution | Opening-drive score and pullback grade; inactive when both are under 50. |
| Order Flow | Participation and location behind the move, plus a recent absorption shift. |
| Red Flags | Exhaustion, a stretched or poor location, and other red flags against the setup. |
A PRIME signal fires only when every gate passes — and the HUD shows which guardrail held back the ones that come close.
For traders who want a quality score they can actually interrogate — and who treat a clear "no" as just as useful as a "yes."
The HUD narrates the setup in plain English each bar, so the basis for the score is understood before any decision — not guessed at after.
When a PRIME comes close but doesn't fire, the panel names which gate failed — score, bias strength, exhaustion, location or cooldown — turning a non-signal into information.
Adjustable pillar weights let context, execution, flow, or red flags carry more of the score, so the engine reflects the factors you trust most.

Yes, heavily, and on purpose. We use leading AI models and our own custom AI tooling in modeling, analysis and development, including the research behind the DI Briefs and Helix. SteelyStoryTeller grades every bar across four pillars, gates PRIME on score, bias, exhaustion and location, and narrates the verdict in plain English — so when a signal fires, the score and its explanation can be reviewed together. Not a mystery number; the reason behind it.
